Bio

Christopher has 20+ years of hands-on technical, business and management experience. In his previous role, as Chief Information Officer at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate, he led the initiative to launch the Institute’s ground-breaking and immersive exhibits preceding the dedication and grand opening with President Obama. As a member of the senior leadership team, he collaborated for nearly 5 years on the overall operations of the Institute, shaping it from startup to a mature organization.

Previously, at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, Christopher worked closely with internal staff, including training them, at the JFK Library to maximize the use of technology, and worked with partners, including Raytheon, EMC, AT&T, Iron Mountain, Microsoft, as well as many smaller vendors of goods and services on both contractual and technical needs.

In 2006, while at Vecna Technologies as Director of Client Services, Christopher co-led the business and development team that developed the Massachusetts Commonwealth Care and Commonwealth Choice web portal. He successfully launched the groundbreaking service in less than four months, from legislation to working with evolving business requirements, finally to a successful launch. This service was a key model for the current Affordable Care Act legislation.

Christopher has started and managed many businesses, giving him proven essential hands-on experience with new and untested ideas and directions. For many of his clients, Christopher was effectively their outsourced-CIO, architecting and refining their technology road maps and brings broad experience in integrating disparate systems in organizations, such as the infrastructure, software, hardware and mobile devices.

Christopher served for over a decade as Executive Chair of the MIT Sloan CIO Symposium (www.mitcio.com) between 2005 and 2015. Mr. Reichert serves on the Board of Directors and is Vice President for the MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association.
