Vipin Gupta is Chief Innovation and Digital Officer at Toyota Financial Services (TFS). He oversees a broad range of business functions: Toyota Payments, Kinto Mobility, Corporate Strategy, Research and Innovation, Enterprise Transformation, Operational Excellence, Workplace Services, Information Technology, Cybersecurity and TFS Academy.

Gupta joined TFS in 2018, and has led a rapid transformation of TFS into a multi-brand digital company, expanding from a captive finance to a mobility finance as-a-service business going beyond Toyota and Lexus brands. He has mastered the art of harnessing the power of digital to strategically reshape large financial services business into new digital business models to create new growth.

Gupta is a recipient of the prestigious 2021 MIT Sloan CIO Leadership Award and 2022 Forbes Next recognition. He has also been recognized by CIO Magazine as a ‘CIO Hall of Fame’ inductee and ‘CIO 100’ Honoree. TFS Academy, founded by Gupta, was recognized with the ‘2021 Learning in Practice’ award for its innovation and groundbreaking teaching and learning culture.

Gupta is a member of multiple non-profit and advisory boards. Additionally, he volunteers as a mentor for emerging CIOs across various companies
